Re: VP MD2040D Fuel Injection Pump Leak

I wish I could help you more, but after asking on this forum and being advised to take it to a fuel shop, that's exactly what I did.

I couldn't find anywhere on the internet any information on how to service that fuel pump or fix the leak. It was really frustrating, but I sucked it up and paid for the repair.

I understand you may not be close to a repair shop, so am hoping someone on this forum has experience with the pump and can walk you through the repair.

IMO they gave you a good reaming. Thats a 1 hr job max. Whilst I havent done a volvo injection pump looking at your parts drawing there is nothing special about replacing those as long as you match the bits to the cylinder.
Is it a Bosch pump?
$15 o-rings, shud be 15c.
