Water pump-how to fix this Yanmar 3GM30FC

There must be washers between the bracket and block causing the misalignment.

Verify the bracket is bent 90*
Verify it bolts fluch to the block.

The pulley’s on back to front.

well I doubt it has been that way in past, so what changed

That I can’t answer.... but the pump has been recently installed judging by the grease on the mounting bolts.
One more thing, it might be useful to rotate that hoseclip, maybe it’s just the camera angle but it looks mighty close to the engine bed.

Yes, correct. It is a flat plate.

Pulley was turned around. Now is ok
