Wireless Engine controls

Hi, I am preparing to sail to the South pacific singlehanded and the ability to control the Engine (Yanmar 4JH3E) speed and the gears remotely would be good for keeping a look out at the bow for Coral heads.
I am looking at utilizing 12V linear actuators and wireless controls from Progressive Automations. The project looks to be fairly straightforward, use short cables to bring the controls to a readily accesable "transfer box" where you can flick over from the normal controls from the helm to the linear actuators. I just need to figure out some logic to ensure the throttle is backed all the way off before engaging gear and maybe an indicator to show throttle position.
Was wonderiing if anyone had tried a similair thing or maybe something is available off the shelf?
Sorry about spelling cant find the check?

Re: Wireless Engine controls

look at a system from Yacht Controller. You may be able to adapt it.
