It's possible, though the clamp has been loose for at least 2 years, and the car was in daily use for the entire period with no issues. I'm kinda thinking it was a cumulative series of events, but I have no idea how the ECM accumulates, stores or makes decisions on sensor inputs. Just glad it worked.

As for your experience with the Yanmar, looks like you're approaching it with the proper attitude (apparently unlike the previous owner); get all the bugs out now, and you'll save time and money and headaches down the road, plus you'll have the confidence to rely on your systems when you need them.

Yeah it doesn’t take much for those cars to get Christmas tree on your dash. Aka every trouble light. Or tons of stored codes.

I forgot to show what the water pump">raw water pump impeller looked like haha.

Local boat supply luckily had one in stock. They said the pump belongs in a museum.
