Yanmar freshwater thermostat
Hello!

I am looking for a proper thermostat for a freshwater cooled Yanmar 2qm15. Will the 124790-49800 fit?

Good day Mr Gord May,

I believe thermostat 124770-49200 is for raw water cooled engines.
Question is if the thermostat 124790-49800 (2QM20 fresh water cooled) will fit in my 2Qm15 (aftermarket freshwater cooling?

If it's aftermarket freshwater cooling, then the FW 'stat would, likely, also be aftermarket.

You are absolutely right. I have found the correct one on a Swedish website.
