Yanmar km2p-1 replacement

Hi

I am planning to replace my Yanmar km2p-1 gearbox on my 2YM15 motor with a gearbox with another ratio.

I have found 2 used gearboxes with the right ratio (KM2P and Km3P) and have not been able to find a comparison sheet describing the differences.

Can i replace a KM2P-1 with a KM2P (or KM3P) ?

Do they have the same dimensions ?

Try to change elevation of propeller maybe is cheaper.

It was my first approach - my propeller guy tried to calculate a new prop for my current ratio (3.22) and there where no optimal size /elevation .

There is only space for a 14 inch folding prop and the prop guy told me to go for a 2.62 ratio for optimal performance
