Yanmar Mystery Raw Water Pump

I was recently given a water pump">raw water pump at my local marina that was supposedly for a Yanmar 2gm. After comparing it to the raw water pump on my own 2gm it's definitely not meant for that engine. Any ideas as to what model Yanmar this is for or if it even for a Yanmar would be much appreciated.

No, not for a 2QM15 nor for a 2QM20.

These guys say it is for a 2 or 3GM, replacing Yanmar p/n 128377-42500. Perhaps it's model specific?

Alright thanks, he didn't specify if it was for a 2gm or a 2gm20, but after looking at 3gm30 pumps I'm pretty sure thats it.

Mine looks the same as yours. I reckon that it will fit your engine. You just need to swap the pulley & bracket over.

Depending on year of engine manufactured..they changed pumps.. Looks to be a EU version pump unless someone previously replaced the pump with a more current version..
