1968 Pearson P35

Ahoy,
I'm looking to find out dimensions for the 135 genoa for a 1968 Pearson P35. I found a little bit of info on the Pearson 35 website but curious to see if anyone else has dimensions to see how close they are to the sites dimensions. I'm in the mid west right now and the boat is in Washington North Carolina otherwise I would take the measurements myself!

Check with SAILBOAT DATA They have most dimensions of most all production boats.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did check sailboat dats and it seems to me if I am reading it correctly that they only show main sail dimensions.

Size will depend on whether the sail is hank-on or roller furling and, if roller furling, how far off the deck the RF drum is. Max hoist on my headstay with ProFurl furler with long tangs to the headstay chain plate is 38'6". Foot length will be around 18'6".

If you are going to have a sail made, most sailmakers will have the dimensions and only need to know how your boat differs from the standard hank on boat. I've gotten sails cut for other boats, most notably a 140% RF Genoa for a Tartan 34C, that fit perfectly.

Ya my bad for not specifying..... It would be for a hank on. I like the "old school" way of doing things.... If I may ask who did you use for your sail maker?

Mack sails in Florida. Great to deal with and almost 1/2 the price of a local sailmaker. They just needed the real life hoist distances and went from their. They also supplied a new internal reefing boom from US Spars at a great price. The old roller reefing boom was on its last legs.

Very good. I will check them out. Cant wait to get out east again to the boat and get her ready for the sail to Florida this spring!!! Thanks for the insight.
