A36 Mild Steel Diesel Tanks
Hi Folks

My Cape North 43, Amihan, is currently on the hard in Subic Bay Philippines. We will be removing and replacing the fuel tanks and the current plan is to use 8mm A36 steel. The tanks' exterior will be sandblasted, primed and epoxy coated. Without considering the discussions on materials I have already read on the forum does anyone see a problem with A36 steel (mild steel) at 8mm (0.32 inch).
