Air only ventilator

I have just installed an Aironly ventilator to replace a very tired marinco day night model and I have to say what a well made and designed piece it is. After installation I noticed that the air volume coming into the cabin was greater than the marinco, on the same day and, obviously just after the removal of one and install of the other I accept that it may be subjective however I am sure that the volume was greater than with the marinco, and nothing to wear ot, break or be replaced. A win in my book, and significantly cheaper than the marinco.

I'm interested to know how they go with Greenwater over the hatch.

Did you get the optional internal fan?

Re: Air only ventilator

We ordered one to replace a broken solar ventilator in our head. Arrived from Ukraine to Germany in about three weeks (of which most was German customs processing). Seems well-made but we haven't installed it yet. Too many projects before we started our cruise, and now in Norway it is a bit cold for the sealant. Maybe next week when it gets warmer.

We stopped at the Hallberg-Rassy yard while we were sailing by, and their spare parts department was selling these same ventilators (the low-profile model) at roughly double the price.

No, I opted for the low profile model and whilst there is a breeze there is air through it, no breeze no air through it, the only point that the solar vents have over it.
