Alpes Inox Stove Needs Help

Does anybody know where we can find repair parts other than the company in Italy? Two burners are having problem with their flame diffusers (IE RUSTED). The factory will sell new burners for all four plus the odds and ins for about $450. A new stove will be more than double the repair cost.

What to do? Does anybody have or know a used stove that we could buy or steal parts to repair this Alpes-Inox?

Thanks

Wil

I've got one on our Voyage cat.
No problems yet. If they have problems with the equipment in their charter fleet, usually they will find something else.
Maybe you could check w/ them in Annapolis.

I don't believe that they're sold in North America.

Thanks for the response. Are you saying that there is a dealer in Annapolis or a charter fleet?

Oops - they do have an American distributor/dealer, "DOM", with several showrooms, though not in Annapolis.

Yeah, we ordered new flame diffusers from DOM & they ordered them from Italy. Took a while but we got them.

Hi Jon

I enjoy reading your blog, just waiting our turn to depart.

Do you happen to know what diffuser you purchased and the price. I was wondering if it would save us money just buying straight from the company or thru DOM. Did you replace the whole burner assembly or just the diffusers? The diffusers seem to be the only problem that we have with rusting. Have you had any other problems with your stove that we may need to order part for?

Thanks

Wil

I wasn't clear, but was referring to Voyage Yachts in Annapolis. Sounds like Dom would be the way to go.

Hi Surf City, just wondering if you made any progress with this? I’m having the same problem with rusty diffusers!
