Further south you go, the more options you have. There are many metal fabricators, as you are getting to Sportfish land. All the sportfish boats have towers. Jensen Beach to Port Salerno is loaded with companies, can get many quotes and ideas.

Re: Arch Stainless work // Ft Pierce - Stewart FL

Just spent a couple years in FL recommissioning a 46' sailboat, many lessons learned. for stainless work I'd recommend Harper's Fabrication, Jeremy Harper, in Stuart. Good guy, good work, fair price and showed up when he said he would. 772 370 3778. For work off the boat you can't beat Scott Crowder, AIM Welding in Ft. Laud. Good value, good work, great people. 954 581 7630. There's also CJM Custom Shop, good work but more expensive. Also in Ft. Lauderdale. We did work with Mack, they were good though slow. They'd farm out the stainless work. Wells probably still makes arches in Florida, a bit pricey. And Kato is there. And then there's always the arch-in-a-box, off the internet. Just put it together, much less money. Aluminum, though.

Thanks Briblack! I am at Merritt Island now and will try to need Danco Welding Has excellent rep. a bit pricy at 95/hr but good. Locals say he specializes in aluminum, not what i had in mind. i have not had face time with him to confirm SS project. i will post here. I was luch to get end of T dock this time of year here.

Re: Arch Stainless work // Ft Pierce - Stewart FL

again in Stuart, we were in a slip at Apex Marine, while Mack Sails was working on our rig. it was a good marina, more a work marina than a place to keep your boat long term. good people, some decent crafts people available. not too expensive. it's affiliated with a brokerage operation, seems to share the docks. and you can anchor nearby, there's a good mooring field across the water, at Sunset Bay. Stuart has most of what you might need, available.
