Awlgrip flattening agent in International Interthane

I am in the Philippines and the International Paint Distributor does not carry the flattening additive for Interthane 990 (Perfection in the USA?)
He does however, have the Awlgrip flattening agent

This is for the non-skid areas on my deck and I would prefer a flat finish. Can I use the Awlgrip additive?
Any other recommended flattening additive for a 2 part linear polyurethane top coat?

Well sure , it's all the same. It 's just a powder that kills the gloss. How much to use is the only question.

Re: Awlgrip flattening agent in International Interthane

Should work fine. I'd play around with the ratios, it'll be confusing because the directions on the can require you to change the ratios for Awlgrip. Mix Interthane 990 as normal, then add flattening paste, then reduce as required. If you are roll applying instead of spraying, viscosity is much less of a concern. If you are spraying use a Zahn cup to reduce to the correct viscosity. A cheap #2 Ford cup will work, no need to get a nice expensive one. Do a couple of test runs on something disposable first.
