Re: Bend in furler foil

It is a schaefer 3000. Im not sure what caused the bend but i hadnt noticed it until actually taking the genoa off for repair/maintenence. I hope i can source the parts here locally. Im in Darwin Australia its always hard to get any parts here and good service is hard to come by so i will most definitely be doing the job myself.

Yes, everything has to get shipped there but at least you can source it and rely on it arriving in a few days, unlike in some more remote places.

If the bend in the extrusion is as extreme as the photo indicates I wonder how difficult it was to lower the genny head over the bend ?
