boarding ladders

Hi we have a Hans Christian 33 and are trying to find a solid stainless boarding ladder that will fit the rail of the HC. Any ideas out there.

Thanks

Re: boarding ladders

Hi kachina33, beautiful boat. Take a look at these ladders. I installed one on our double-ender, and am completely happy with it. It stows away easily, is very solid when in use, and best of all, can be triggered from the water level, so doubles as an emergency ladder.

It's a bit pricey, but well worth it.

P.S. I have no connection to the company, other than being a satisfied customer.

Re: boarding ladders

Thanks Mike,
I will take a good look at the sight. The HC has a toe rail that is not flush and hard to configure a ladder over. There are brackets on the starboard side which a ladder was connected to but have not been able to find the right one.

Re: boarding ladders

Are there any other pics of the ladder and attachements. Was it custom made for the boat?
Thanks

The up-n-out has a number of different attachment options. Our toe rail is quite large. I had a hard time finding anything that would work well, yet be easily storable. One attachment for the ladder incorporates slides on the jib T-track. That's how we attach ours.

The company is small, so the owner was open to working with his clients to make each installation work.

Re: boarding ladders

I like what you can see on dive boats - sure they know what they want.
