Boatyard Recommendations?

Does anyone have recommendations for a good boatyard in the Seattle area. I have a Newport 33 on Lake Union and need bottom paint and a couple of blisters repaired.

Are you planning to do it yourself or have someone do it for you? Makes a big difference.

I suppose it depends on the cost. Seaview Marina offers a package price to lift you out, power wash the bottom, and do a prep-sanding. It would make sense to do that - they have the sanding equipment with the required vacuum attachments. I can apply the bottom paint (or my son can...).

But, I also know of a couple of blisters that need fixing, and the main shaft coupling is pretty corroded and should be replaced. I am contemplating doing that work myself. That and giving the hull a good clean and waxing.

The best DIY yard I have ever come across is at the Colony Wharf in Bellingham. They have a list of shipwrights that work there should you need help. You can sail up to Bellingham in one day if you plan your tides right ( a very long day). I have not worked with Seaview, but get the impression that they cost more.
