Bottom hull stripping

Well unfortunately it's time to strip the bottom and start again on our 50ft Catamaran, not looking forward to it at all so I was looking at a paint stripper, planner, not chemical but an electric paint planner, there are a few available and was curious to know if anyone has used one, pro's & con's.
