Re: Bottom Paint for Pacific Mexico

The yard had difficulties trying to get the Comex paint. Ended up using Nautical Proguard. It's very reasonably priced so I'm a bit concerned. I have a friend who put Interlux on and another that brough down Petit. We will all be cruising the same areas this season so it may well end up being and interesting test of paints.
Only 3 weeks back in the water so far so hard to comment any further at this time.

Thanks ZEEHAG for your support. We purposely don't post often on Cruisers Forum, but it does make sense to spread the news. We are Todo Vela Mexico, having our store in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle since 2011. We recently decided to retire, but life happened, and Sea Hawk Paints, Kiwi Grip, and Epifanes decided to each give us a wholesale distributorship for the country of Mexico. So, as we closed the "marine store", we re-opened as a retail/wholesale distributor, with our new marketing name "Mexico Marine Wholesale Paints". We have relationships with many of the applicators located along the pacific coast, such as in Mazatlan, San Blas, and Vallarta.

We have a website: www.MexicoMarine.com.mx which offers the normal information about marine paints, but we also recently published a catalog you can download with the paints we stock in Mexico. We currently have over 700 gallons of anti-foul in stock - that is enough to paint 150-200 average size cruisers! So we are serious about this business!

We also have the facebook page that you mentioned: www.Facebook.com/MexicoMarine

Thanks to all on this forum and be in touch if we can help you.
