Bottom paint.us

Has anyone had experience using Blue Water barrier coat and bottom paints from bottompaint.us? They claim to have the USN and USCG as customers.

I guess not, usually responses here are fairly quick and plentiful.

Means nothing really other than they make mil-spec paint cheat enough to sell some.

Re: Bottom paint.us

I have used their ablative bottom paint for the last five or six years and have been very satisfied with the performance here in Florida and the Bahamas.

However, paint formulations change frequently, particularly since Irgarol has disappeared from the market. Past performance is no guarantee for future performance, regardless of manufacturer.

My understanding is that Blue Water has some new formulations scheduled for this summer.
