Hi fstbttms

I think we might be talking about a different product, from their product description at the bottom.

I suggested it because if he is scrubbing every 2 weeks he doesn't need antifoul, he needs a finish that will last if it is scrubbed that often for years.

I think it is worth a look.

Seacoats website.

It is a silane – siloxane nano coating that cures to an extremely hard glass smooth finish. It is a non-stick
surface. SEA-SPEED V 10 X CLEAR should be applied by airless Spray only!

No, we are talking about the same product. I posted about it because I think it's important that people realize that a foul release coating like V10X is nothing like a traditional, biocide-laden anti fouling paint. And because it has seen very little use in the recreational boating market. You can't take the manufacturer's promotional verbiage as gospel.

It's not claimed to be antifoul, they make that clear. The point of my post is, it's hard and durable and might withstand the scrubbing which was the posters issue with his current paint.

There is a sv delos video on it and they scrub it and scrape it and say that it is sufficiently hard they didn't believe they had damaged the finish at all.

The manufacturer has given me in writing a statement to say it is durable enough that I can dry out my boat on the beach without harming the finish.
