Ceiling Mount Fishing Rod Holder with 4200?

I just received a set of teak fishing rod holders and am preparing to mount them inside to my cabin top. Reading through 4200s documentation, I think it might have enough holding power to keep the rods stuck up, provided I prep surfaces well. Has anyone tried this? Am I wasting my time trying to avoid putting holes in my cabin top? Thanks!

How do you feel about having a reel drop on your head? Probably when you are pounding in a seaway.

Seriously, a marginal attachment is something I should talk you out of. Use the 4200 to bed the bolts that you put through the cabin roof.
