Chandler in Barcelona

Hi,
I just arrived to Barcelona with my Moody 40 and trying to find a good, read cheap, place to buy some gear such as solar panels and a couple of batteries and a lot of other boat related stuff in. I stay in port Forum and there are a couple of small shops there but the prices are not the best I have seen.

Have anybody ordered from an online shop and had it delivered to the marina?

i havn't been in barcelona for a while,but it might be worth waiting till either gibraltar,or palma de mallorca where you will find very competetively priced chandleries.

best deals for panel's and batteries will be online,but you could try some of the domestic solar power shops locally.

You probably right about that. Maybe I'll wait until Gibraltar or Canary island later this year. Do not really need it until December when we cross to the Caribbean.

almiramar near almaria has been a longtime favorite winter stop for the med cruisers,might try there as well.

torreviejo,also has a good chandler run buy brits

,though for boat stuff,"shepards chandelery" in gibraltar is hard to beat for prices and selection.
