Thanks Volker and Frankly,

I am considering a belt drive wheelpilot with one of these motors, if the motor and shaft seal can be made waterproof. - That is just one of the big questions.

RAE Corporation has:
Permanent Magnet DC Motor perhaps Opti 4000 Series or a stock Geared Motor?

12vdc PWM reversing controller 15a continuous, 20a peak. smooth, silent and cost-effective control of motor speed. High-speed FET output PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) design. 15A output 20A peak. (Higher currents on request). Can be epoxy
encapsulated for harsh environments.


Maybe use a Bosch windshield wiper motor?
