closed cell foam in a can?

anyone know of an alternative to PU foam in a can which is we think open cell? i am using it to reinforce and water proof a double walled ply deckhouse!

While it's not a can, this may work for you.

polystyrene is closed cell. If it is compressable it is open cell. The spray in PU foam can be bagged to stop water instrusion.
