Cockpit Locker Not Waterproof . . .

Better said that they are taking water in when it rains. And all the things I have in the lockers get wet.. I don't want to let the cushions on the lockers as they can be easily stolen. The solution would be to put some kind of rubber stopper around the opening to keep the locker tightly closed or what else...?

Re: Cockpit locker not waterproof...

I have to admit that after numerous efforts the answer is not keep things that must stay dry in your cockpit lockers! (or only in their own self-contained waterproof container.)

Re: Cockpit locker not waterproof...

The locker lids and the water seals on many cockpit lockers need to be completely rebuilt. Some don't even have proper drain channels and many are just to flimsy to keep a good seal.

Re: Cockpit locker not waterproof...

Here is a project that I think would work well for cockpit lockers on the cockpit seats.
