Corrosion on keel bolts and strange foam

Hello everyone!

I consider to buy/let survey a 2002 Bavaria 40. I want to hear your opinion on two photos I have doubts wether they show serious damage/problems.

On are the keel bolts. There seems to be a bit blistering next to the washers of the bolts. Is that normal? Any problem? What do you think?

The second photo shows the hull under the front V-berth. There seems to be running resin down the hull from some bad repair. And there is a lot of foam. I guess, that was sprayed in there to fix the water tank. What do you think? And what does it mean, when the water tank has become lose? Delamination or other serious problems?

Thank you very much for your opinions!

Re: Corrosion on keel bolts and strange foam

You need to find where the resin is coming from. Maybe it's a good, but sloppy repair. Obviously made after the boat was built. The blistering could be the fiberglass distorting when the nuts were tightened. You'd need to remove the nuts and washer and grind the blister to see what it's made of. Foam just looks like a sloppy job.
