Cost of New Deck Paint and Miscellaneous Hardware

Hello I have a IF Folkboat 26' length 7' beam that needs new deck paint. What might be an approximate estimate to expect for work done on Oahu and assuming the existing deck paint is in fair to ok shape?

Also does anyone have some good links to misc hardware resources online? I am looking for quality products not the crap that West Marine tends to sell.

I am missing my old local chandlery in Alameda (Svendsens) they were total old school and always have what you need no matter how obscure or old the part.

Where else does one shop in Hawaii for sailing misc.?

Who is everyones favorite boat yard for work on Oahu? Is it worth it to sail it to another Island?

Pura Vida

Try Interlux Interdeck its $37.00 a qt. from WM. Scrub the deck down well with a scrubby sponge. Put on a couple of coats. It will take a qt. maybe 2.

I second that.
If you do not want to use that because west marine sells it use the Rustoleum polyurethane with there grip sand, it can be bought at Lowes for around 27.00 a quart, it loses its color slightly after two or three years....:devil :

Looks like I'll be using Awlgrip 545. The boat came with all new deck paint sans labor. I am dreading not being able to sail her for awhile.
