DECKadence Marine Flooring

Also known as DMF has anyone used it, trying to gain info for deck usage..non skid..have previously used Seadek, not happy with that, non skid properties good, but does not hold up well, apparently Captain has issues with painting non sikd, so we are looking at alternatives. Thanks for any info

Sorry to sidetrack your thread, but can you expand on your opinion of SeaDek? I've been considering that for my fishing boat.

That deckadence stuff looks pretty sweet though. I haven't seen that before.

Re: DECKadence Marine Flooring

As I mentioned in my original post, it does not clean easily, if you get stains they are pretty much there, and if you drop tools, it will cut it. We started out with an off white color, stayed dirty looking all the time and wanted to go with black but the mfg said it would shrink on the deck because of sun, so we went with the darker gray and it shrunk. So after all the hassles of installing twice, not impressed. We went ahead and got some of the deckadence, and we really like it so far.

Thanks for the response. It's always nice to hear these things before I order it! I really like how the DMF doesn't need to be glued down.

The captain did glue down the sections on steps going to aftdeck, but the rest is loose lay. It looks really good, lays well, and best of all always looks clean! Its pricey but I think it will be worth it. Good luck!
