Diver Plate vs Hull Anode. Any difference?

Is there anythng special about hull anodes that are marketed as "Diver Plates"? I cannot find anything searching on line about why they are called Diver Plates.

Re: Diver Plate vs Hull Anode. Any difference?

Thanks Simi,

I wanted to make sure, but was assuming the functionality was the same and that it was a marketing name.

The only differnece that I could see from manufacturers that sold plate anodes with and without the "Diver" name was that their "Diver" models had large oval slots for the bolts. Maybe these are easier for a diver to replace than units with just small holes?
It does not really matter now that I know the functionality is the same. Thanks again.

They are called "Divers Dream" because we get to charge so much for them
