DIY Location in Chicago

I am looking for somewhere near Chicago where I would be able to do some work on my boat. Preferably somewhere that doubles as indoor winter storage so I don't have to waste a few months of summer while I am working on the boat.

If anyone knows of any marinas or shipyards or good resources to find them let me know!

Many Chicago boat owners move boats to Michigan marinas as far north as Muskegon for DIY and lower costs

All Chicago area yards allow DIY. The 4 yards accessible by mast up sailboats also have indoor storage: Crowleys, Skyway, Chicago Yacht Works and Canal St.
