DIY Yard in SW Florida?

Can anyone recommend a yard in SW Florida that'll let us work on our boats? We're in Cape Coral, but would be happy to travel to the right yard. I'll list the areas of interest just so they'll come up if anyone does a search.

Lee County: Cape Coral, Pine Island, St. James City, Bokeelia, Matlacha, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs.

Collier County: Naples, Marco Island

Charlotte County: Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port

Thanks - Jim

Yards

It is a little out of your listed area. However Apollo Beach Marina is repair your own boat friendly. Matter of fact there is a Pearson 26 sitting on the hard and needing restoration.

Thanks. If I can't find anything closer, that might be our best bet. The sail would be fun, the drive however... I'd rather not. Maybe the thing to do would be to make a week of it and stay in Apollo Beach rather than drive back and fourth. Thanks again. -Jim

In Charlotte you have:
Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage 941 828-0216
and
All American Covered Boat Storage 941 697-9900

Hope this helps

If your set up for it you might be able to camp out on the boat. Especially short term.

DIY in SW Florida

We're in Cape Coral and their are only two that we're aware of -- one was mentioned: Charlotte Harbor Boat Yard and the other is Glades Boat Yard in Moorehaven. They are about equal distance from Cape Coral and both will let you work on your boat -- and live on it if you want to camp out.
