Drainage behind hull vinyl liner?

I'll be relining the hull this year, with (presumably) replacement vinyl lining. At the top it's folded inwards, under the deck. So any small water leaks go behind the liner.

Is there a pre-vinyl layer product, to line the hull and allow drainage?

Many thanks

What design is your yacht? Why don't you fix the leaks?
But I have never heard of a vinyl liner so I'm not much help.

I'll be interested to read what others advise,

Re: Drainage behind hull vinyl liner?

I think either of those.

The problem.with leaks is, you don't know you have one until you have one. If that's during a rainy winter and your a thousand miles from the boat for 5 months, then you're not there to fix it.

In some cases, water on the face on the liner would run into timber cupboards, stored bedding etc.

There are basement liners used in the building trade, that might work

Re: Drainage behind hull vinyl liner?

Sounds like condensation rather than leaks.
