Extra stainless rigging wire in sizes matching your rig. Swageless terminals to match, i. e. Norseman or Sta Lok.

It didn't work well, but lasted long enough to get us out of trouble, then I madew another from some cheap plastic rope by doing a long splice in situ , very hot.
