Endeavour 24ft Yacht steel frame corrosion

Hi, need some advice with regards my Endeavour 24.

I have found the steel frame where it connects to the concrete ballast in the keel has significant corrosion. The rest of the frame is in good condition, but the 4 points of contact are at least 50% integrity. Is this possible to repair. I was about to head into a significant restoration of the boat but if this means the structural integrity of the boat is compromised, I will most likely scrap it.

Any advice/information on this would be appreciated.

Refer attached photo.

Cheers Frank

FOGrady how about some more photos? I wouldn't stress to much about it. Everything is fixable and if that is the only issue in your 1970s sailboat? I would say that is pretty good.
Cheers

A 24' steel sail boat is so overbuilt that just about any steel framing could be removed without significantly effecting the hull strength.

Australian Endreavour 24 is a solid GRP boat with a steel pipe frame for the internal furniture and quaternary berth cots. Is the the part the has rusted or the glassed in ring frame that is under the mast (so no compression post needed)?

So it's a ring frame to transfer mast and ballast generated loads into the hull.

That's critical to the structural integrity and the corrosion significantly reduces the frames section the corroded section should be replaced.
