Sounds like there are a number of options available. I also thought of just trying with detergent and a scrub brush and a bit elbow grease.

I will give some of these options a try and report back.

I like the vinegar idea. Typically, I reuse my pots by just letting the epoxy cure and throw away the brush (a bit wasteful even if they are cheap). For cleanup I usually use solvent (except this time) but it is expensive, unhealthy and stinky.
