Far inland refit & transportation.

So I've done some forum searching here, but no joy. I'm thinking of buying an old 40'-46' bluewater sailboat and doing a full refit to her over a 4-5 year period, while also working and saving up for cruising.

The first question I had regarding this is the logistical problem of getting the boat to a yard near where I work; Redding, California, 190 miles from the Bay Area, which would be the most likely launch point for a boat that size. Has anyone here any experience with inland transportation costs on a boat this size. Obviously it would be an oversized load, requiring pilot chase and chase cars along the way, so it's not going to be cheap, but I don't have many good options for moving my job right now. Thanks in advance for you input.
