Cured epoxy won’t stick to HDPE (not much does; most cereal bags are made out of it, so it’s a good way to reuse them).

A nice thick unused HDPE cutting board might not be a bad idea either. Any cuts on the board would likely show up in the finish, and owners of said cutting boards may become angry at one reappropriating them, so I’d recommend buying new instead of using one from the kitchen.
