That shouldn't be too hard at all. (I'll get back to you)

I buy everything I can off eBay (or online) One reason being is that I'm 120km North of Perth. But even if I lived in Perth I'd still use an online supplier as I am sick to death of wasting my time running my car from one supplier to another. I used to do my shopping (in person) and the day was gone!

Without going back and finding who I actually bought from (Ive bought 800+ items) I just did a search on eBay for 12v 100A circuit breaker.

On the left of the screen I can nominate the capacity, Brand, Australian Seller (and even the price range)

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_...ircuit+breaker

IMPORTANT
Always look at the feedback score. I notice there is one there with a feedback score of 93.5%%. Avoid that rogue like the plague! (Why does eBay allow them to operate?). Normally I won't deal with an Australian seller with a feedback score of less than 99% (Asia 98%)

@ GILow:

Don't know if you have a handhold in the head, already, but it is very useful on our boat, the fiddle starts out, as a trim strip, then lifts in a radius-ed turn to matching height with the fiddles outboard bottom shelf [above are cabinets]. At the greater height, there is an oval hole, for a hand, and it is in just the right place to steady a fellow when desired. Our timber is PNG rosewood, light weight, and strong, has become about teak colored, but the grain is altogether different.

Ann

I steered clear of wood in the head as it is my shower recess as well and I wondered how wood would fair when wet. I went for a stainless steel handhold but I wondered if I have put it in the right place "for when desired"

Yes, there are two brand to choose from, “unbranded” and “not specified”.

Gee.... hard choice. I’ll ask Wotname, he’s well versed on this exotic electrical stuff.

And for the record, I bought one of those cheapo EBay circuit breakers. I tested it first by shorting it out. It tripped... eventually. After getting pretty darn hot. Then it emitted a forlorn burning smell and wouldn’t reset again.

Once it had cooled sufficiently to do so safely, I threw it in the bin.

Ann, one of the many pleasures in my life is explaining to visitors WHY there are multiple handholds around the toilet.

The look on their faces keeps me warm at night.

On a separate thread we narrowed my fiddle material down to Tasmanian Oak (a form of gumtree apparently, who’d have known). I’d love to see a photo of that handhold you describe, I may well be able to construct something similar.

Ahh.. OK, thanks. I misunderstood your previous post, I thought you had purchased the items off one specific Aussie eBay seller rather than any Aussie eBay seller (along with the requisite feedback score).

Because the search link you pasted had an additional bit of metadata. 12 v.

Try your own link and you’ll see what I mean.

I would stick to Blue Seas or Bep products. The electrical system is the last place you want shaky unknown products.

Good call mate, but you are preaching to the choir here.

Wotname

I'm sure I did purchase from just one supplier at the time but as I don't intend building another yacht we were just like ships passing in the night.

I would happily deal with any Australian eBay seller with a Positive feedback in the high 99s. Of course they are desperate to maintain a high performance rating and will do the right thing.

Cheers
