I hope you find it and report back, because I looked everywhere two years ago for the exact same thing, and couldn't find it anywhere.

I, too, found things from China, that looked like they would work, that no one seemed to be distributing here. Sometimes, I think they don't even make stuff like that, they just advertise it, and plan on manufacturing it, if anyone ever calls up and wants to buy it by the ton.

You’d be right. I got a hold of China. 2000 METERS was the minimum order.

Funny thing is, the reason I’m thinking of it is because my old boat had it! There was a 1”+ U channel plastic trim around all doorways. The doors closed on the surface of the bulkheads.

This stuff existed in the UK in the 1980’s but is gone now.

Seriously thinking about just using a firm rubber pipe insulation or something. I want it to just press into place and maybe use an adhesive
