friges and portlights

I have a 1981 Morgan 462, original frige and freezer. The insulation is encapsulated inside and outside with fiberglass. What is the likelihood of the insulation still being good? Besides new portlights it's the last major job to be done. Also does anyone know about the Newfound Metals portlights?
