Frigoboat thermostat adjustment

My frigoboat keeps freezing my veggies!
How do I raise the thermostat?
The display control is an Emerson Universal XR.

Re: Frigoboat thermostat adjustment

Gord has you on the right track with the manual for your thermostat.

One way to keep the veggies from freezing is to slightly increase the thermostat setting and see if this does the trick. You do not want it too high of a temp., otherwise your food may spoil earlier than expected.

If your veggies are on the bottom of the fridge, you could put a plexiglass sheet across the bottom shelf. This stops most of the cold air from dropping all the way into the veggie bins. (This is what we did, works well and then can keep the top colder w/the thermostat.)

Re: Frigoboat thermostat adjustment

Just checked and my Inkbird (digital thermostat) indicated 40.7F in the fridge while the separate temp probe on the middle of the bottom shelf (on the plexi above the veggie bins) indicated 34F.
Similarly in our separate freezer, the temp probe placed half way down indicates a much colder temp. than the set temp on that digital thermostat.

Having a separate temp probe (besides the digital thermostat) strategically placed imo is helpful in the proper adjustment of the thermostat.
