FRP hull dry/delaminating early or ongoing?

Hello, FRP experts everywhere. Maybe there is a post about this, but I am new to the site and didn't look through all the pages. Apologies if redundant.

Considering buying a 2022 Leopard sailing cat. Survey found multiple areas that seem to be dry glass or delaminating above the waterline in the tunnel and underside of the cabin. Since then I have looked at many Youtube videos about this factory QC problem.

We are pending an inspection from a qualified FRP expert. But until then ...

Question: do you think two years is enough time for this to manifest and we are seeing the extent of the problem? Or is it possible or likely this is an ongoing defect that will keep appearing anew over time?

Yes the boat is still under warranty. Any thoughts on what support/compensation the manufacturer provides in this warranty situation?

Thank you.

At that price range you should have no shortgage of better quality cats to chose from. Unless you are getting it at a salvage value price I would not waste my time on this dud. What else will be failing so soon from the build date?

I wouldn't bother with an FRP expert, what is he going to tell you that you don't already know. Life's too short find another boat.

What is a “qualified FPR expert” and who “qualified” him?

Sounds more like the guy who once introduced himself to me as a “known expert” who was neither.

Regardless, it’s a quality issue which will never get better
