Full gloss or semi?

In the next few weeks our steel yacht will be abrasive blasted and repainted.
She is multi chine, with no filler and quite fair.
She has always been yellow, but am changing to white as yellow tends to fade fairly quickly.
I cannot decide whether to go for a full gloss paint finish which will show any little imperfections (of which there are many!) or a semi gloss which may be more flattering.
Would welcome any comments from people who have been there, done that.

If using Awlgrip, even a little flattening agent can help in hiding flaws. I know some painters who covertly add flattener to glossy black surfaces, knowing that the lack of gloss will never show, but the imperfections will be better hidden.
I think steel hulls look better when not dazzlingly shiny.
