Galvanic Reactions / Port Sealant

G'day folks,

I am rebedding my bronze ports. The glass on these ports is held in place by a rim which is screwed to the bronze window frame. The screws I have removed appear to be stainless. What's the best metal (for the screws) to use in this particular application?

Also what is the best sealant to use to bed down the glass in the window frame?

Thanks in anticipation to all those nautical type folks who are in the know
