Garboard Drain Plug Attach-how to?

I drilled a hole in my keel last winter with the intent to install a garboard drain plug. Spring is here and I gotta fill that hole. Keel is four feet deep and the hull is at least an inch thick-if not more. Can't get a nut on the back because it is so inaccessible. How are these things installed?

Re: Garboard Drain Plug Attach-how to?

Usually you have the hardware before just drilling a hole, but you'll just have to work with what you have.
Item # 00dp100, Bronze Drain Plugs - Flange Style with Bronze Plug & Wrench On Buck Algonquin
Once you have the fitting drill an appropriate sized hole and install with 4200 or 5200, and install the appropriate screws.
