Getting a new refrigerator

I think I'm going to spring for a new refrigerator compressor - the one I have is just not cutting it, it's really loud and uses R12 and just can't quite freeze any more nor even keep ice frozen. My beer is not cold and I will not stand for that.

I'm thinking about the CoolBlue unit with a 2.5" plate. The freezer/refrigerator is absolutely huge on out boat so I need all I can get. Anybody use these? Any recommendations for something better?

Just installed the Coolblue with the 1" plate in my 5 cubic foot icebox. Works perfect. Just plug and play.
