Question glazing price quest part II - need advice

my thread on glazing prices had an unexpected continuation:
received an e-mail from MAXWELL distributor with really low prices
(about 45% of retailer's) on necessary hatch & port set.

Hmmm... do they have a closing sale ? Is there a big lot of refurbished hatches ?
Can retailers make 110% profit on reselling ?

What say you, gentlemen ?

P.S. Was it Rockefeller or Rotschild who said "I'm not rich enough
to buy cheap stuff" ?
