You bet. It's great for small electronics as well. Also, that middle attachment in the kit (picture) can be used as a small precise heat torch for heat shrink, small epoxy drips removal, and other small repairs/fixes where detail matters.

Re: Great recommendations

I have been using E6000, a very flexible adhesive, sort of a commercial grade shoe goo. It seems to adhere to plastics better than most. It makes a decent sater barrier for hard to seal gaps.

When mixed with paint thinner it gets, well, thin. You can make it as thin as you like. Then use a syringe to apply it. It will run into cracks and adhere. The thinner evaporates out and the volume decreases. You can add more after a few hours. When sealed in the syringe it will last white a while (a few days?) allowing over coating.

Because it is so flexible it seems a good fit for high vibration areas.

Re: Great recommendations

Here’s the best way to spend $80 on two super compact tools:

First the Knipex mini pliers wrench which replaces wrenches up to 7/8” or 23mm. Truly amazing! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I8N282O

Second the Knipex mini Cobra which isn’t just very small but also has a self locking adjustment mechanism. The Cobra pliers are legendary but this mini version is something to carry in your pocket aboard for working with shackles, tight knots etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EXOL08

These are the kind of tools that you wonder why you didn’t buy them years ago

A hose removal hook.

When you need it, you really need it.
