I would love to know myself as I would love to go see the old gal again.
I have tried to contact the new owner, but so far, without, success.

I started to build this boat back in 1979...and launched it roundabout 1981 or thereabouts....hard to recall anymore..

That boat was my home for the next 15 plus years and I loved it, and having built it, I know every square inch of her...

In hindsight, I should have done what this new owner is trying to do...ie, modify the boat to an aft cockpit layout, but at the time I was completely enamored by the center cockpit concept, but the Roberts 38 is a tad small for this concept in my opinion.

I even wrote a book about my build....entitled" and the sea called my name"...you can find it on Amazon if you are interested in this boats origins.
