Handrail to cabin top caulking

I've read that butyl tape can lead to loose and wobbly handrails so what's the best product for teak to gelcoat sealant? 4200...?

That's a job I've been meaning to do for a while now. When I get around to it I will just seal the join with a thin bead of marine adhesive sealant.
